‘EtihadWE’ promotes the concept of rationalization for various groups of society

‘EtihadWE’ seeks to promote the values of social responsibility, protect the environment, preserve natural resources and ensure their sustainability for future generations, this is reflected in the results achieved by ‘EtihadWE’ through its initiatives that contribute to the involvement of many sectors to promote the concept of environmental and social sustainability.

Mohammad Mohammad Saleh, Director General of ‘EtihadWE’, affirmed that the initiatives aimed at rationalizing consumption have achieved promising results in recent years, these initiatives aim to enhance cooperation with the public and private sectors and achieve sustainable development by implementing initiatives related to the rationalization of water and electricity in the areas served by the Compeny. In the water sector, databases show a reduction of about 34% compared to previous years, while in the electricity sector, the "Your Home is our Priority" initiative, which was launched in 2017, has achieved a reduction in consumption estimated until the first half of 2021 by 14%.
‘EtihadWE’ continues to spread the culture of rationalization for the various segments of society, including school students, employees of government agencies, customers and strategic partners, through the implementation of workshops and virtual lectures, since 2017, more than 80 workshops have been conducted on rationalizing the consumption of water and electricity for more than 25 entities, with the attendance of more than 3350 people from different regions.
‘EtihadWE’ has had many initiatives in the field of rationalization over the past years, including: The initiative to install water rationalization devices in the homes of citizens in the northern emirates free of charge "Lel Khair Nurashed" and the initiative to improve the housing of the highest consuming citizens "Your Home is our Priority".
