In the presence of the CEO, Engineer Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, and all departmental leaders, alongside numerous company employees, Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) conducted a two-day workshop. This encompassed team-building sessions and interactive activities aimed at enhancing communication skills and fostering a spirit of teamwork, recognized as crucial assets for the upcoming phase.
The workshop was organized ahead of the implementation of updated work systems and mechanisms scheduled for the beginning of the new year 2024. These changes signify the activation of the semi-governmental sector, involving comprehensive transformations in technical, administrative, and financial systems to achieve the company's new strategic objectives. These goals align with its futuristic vision focusing on innovation, sustainability, economic efficiency, and continuous improvement.
In his address to the attendees, Engineer Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, the CEO, emphasized the strategic choice of collaboration and the concerted efforts of all team members at various functional levels and professional roles. This collective effort aims to achieve a set of objectives under the new strategic values, including meeting public expectations, serving the UAE community, enhancing well-being, achieving anticipated expansion, sustainable future growth, and solidifying the company's position as a trusted institution in the eyes of both society and leadership.
The workshop concluded with presentations by departmental leaders within the framework of the new organizational chart, titled "Project Apex: Activating the New Organization." Through these presentations, they outlined the priorities of their departments for the year 2024, aligned with the company's strategic directions. This included shedding light on key opportunities, how to invest in them, addressing key threats, how to deal with them, and clarifying the readiness to commence work under the new system.
