Clearance Certificate

This service allows customers to request a Clearance Certificate from EtihadWE confirming that there are no outstanding dues on the account, or to request the issuance of the final bill and service disconnection when vacating the premises.

Service Steps

Open the EtihadWE website.

Click on Login and select Customer.

Log in using UAE PASS.

From the main menu, click on Apply Service.

Under the Apply section, click on Clearance Certificate.

Click on the Start Service button.

Select the account from the Account Number list.

There are three options to collect the Security Deposit Amount:

Bank Transfer: Enter the IBAN Number to receive the amount via bank transfer.

Transfer to Another Account: Transfer the security deposit to another Etihad Water & Electricity account.

Cash Collection: Collect the amount in cash where applicable.

Fill in the required fields.

You will receive a verification code by SMS.

Check “I agree to the Terms & Conditions” and click “Apply”.

Pay the final bill amount.

The Clearance Certificate will be shared by email after payment of the final bill amount.

Procedure

How to apply and Procedures

  • Open the EtihadWE website.
  • Click on Login and select Customer.
  • Log in using UAE PASS.
  • From the main menu, click on Apply Service.
  • Under the Apply section, click on Clearance Certificate.
  • Click on the Start Service button.
  • Select the account from the Account Number list.
  • There are three options to collect the Security Deposit Amount:
    • Select “Bank Transfer” and enter the “IBAN Number”.
    • Transfer the security deposit amount to another account within Etihad Water & Electricity by selecting “Transfer to Another Account”.
    • Collect the amount in cash, where applicable.
  • Fill in the required fields.
  • You will receive a verification code by SMS.
  • Check “I agree to the Terms & Conditions” and click “Apply”.
  • Pay the final bill amount.
  • The Clearance Certificate will be shared by email after payment of the final bill amount.
  • The service will be disconnected after applying.

Mobile App: Follow the same steps through the EtihadWE mobile app.

Service Centres: V​isit any EtihadWE service centre, provide the required account details, complete the request, and settle the final bill amount if applicable.
