Service Activation

This service allows customers or new tenants to request the activation of electricity and water services for a property where the previous account has already been closed. The service will activate the utilities to the premises within 24 hours after payment of the deposit, if any.

Service Steps

Step 1

Open the EtihadWE website.

Step 2

Click on Login and select Customer.

Step 3

Step 4

From the main menu, click on Apply Service.

Step 5

Under the Apply section, click on Service Activation.

Step 6

Click on the Start Service button.

Step 7

Fill in the required fields with the necessary information.

Step 8

Upload the required documents.

Step 9

Tick “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” and click Apply to submit the service request.

Procedure

How to apply and Procedures

Open the EtihadWE website.
Click on Login and select Customer.
Log in using UAE PASS.
From the main menu, click on Apply Service.
Under the Apply section, click on Service Activation.
Click on the Start Service button.
Fill in the required fields with the necessary information.
Upload the required documents.
Tick “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” and click Apply to submit the service request.

Emirates ID / Passport
Tenancy Contract approved by the Municipality
Commercial Licence, if the account is commercial
Husband’s Emirates ID and Family Book, if the property is for UAE national women’s housing
Other related documents, if applicable
