FEWA Opens the Customer Happiness Centers for the Public on Sunday

The Federal Electricity and Water Authority has announced that the Customer Happiness Centers will be opened to the public as of next Sunday, with the continuation of the precautionary and preventive measures related to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mohamed Mohamed Saleh, the Authority’s Director General said: “After the previous period witnessed the activation of the remote work system in all of the Authority’s centers and offices within the specified percentages, it was finally decided to be opened to the public, as of Sunday, July 19, with the continuation of the precautionary measures related to the social separation between employees, and taking many other measures that enhance protection and safety for the public, in a way that guarantees the practice of working in a safe and healthy environment for both the employees and the customers alike.
Saleh pointed out that the services provided in the centers in the coming period will be limited to consultants and contractors who inquire about approval requests and requests for connection to the electricity and water services, after the customer gets an appointment for his visit.
Saleh added: "The services provided at the centers also include responding to customer inquiries regarding monthly bills and service interruptions, indicating that it is not preferable for customers of determination and seniors to conduct such transactions themselves in order to preserve their general health and safety.
