As part of its continuous pursuit of leadership and excellence, and in the context of providing world-class services at the highest levels of quality, the Central Laboratory of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority has obtained a certificate of accreditation from Emirates International Accreditation Center in accordance with the requirements of ISO 2017:17025; which is the standard that specifies the general requirements for the efficiency of the testing laboratories. Thus, the Central Laboratory of the Authority is the first laboratory to get this international accreditation for its new edition (2017) in the United Arab Emirates.
The Executive Director of the Shared Services, Adnan Nasib Salem, received the certificate of accreditation from Mrs. Amina Ahmad Mohammed, The Executive Director of Emirates International Accreditation Center in the presence of the Director of Strategy and Future, Director of Excellence and Quality and number of employees of the Central Laboratory and the Department of Health, Safety and Environment.
The Executive Director of Shared Services expressed his happiness and pride in the adoption of the Laboratory of the Authority in accordance with the requirements of ISO 2017:17025, which is considered a new achievement added to the Authority's record of excellence and performance, as this standard includes a technical aspect that contains the necessary technical requirements to prove the efficiency of the testing laboratories.
