As part of FEWA's keenness to provide a safe working environment and suitable working conditions for staff members to fulfill their duties, the HSE Department presented a workshop on fire fighting and the use of manual extinguishers in cooperation with the Civil Defense Department of Al Thaid, to the staff members of customer happiness center of the Central Region. The workshop aimed at maintaining the safety of staff members while performing their duties and promoting a culture of safety for staff members.
The lecture focused on methods of fire spread in different locations including houses, fire fighting methods and the correct methods of using all types of fire extinguishers.
The lecturer also explained to the attendees, the fire fighting procedures due to the nature of their work with hazardous materials and the performance of their work in difficult circumstances or individually, in out of sight places and away from any assistance.
The lecture was held in the Customer Happiness Center's building of Al-Thaid, on Tuesday, 17/4/2018 in the presence of 11 employees. The lectures were presented by Warrant Officer / Abdullah Al-Kutbi and Lieutenant / Mohammed Munir Tuniji.
