On Emirati Women's Day, which falls on August 28 of each year, Etihad Water and Electricity organized a visit to the Etihad Museum in Dubai, in which a large number of female employees from different regions participated.
The program of the visit began with the influx of visitors to the museum, where they enjoyed welcome drinks before they were divided into groups that toured the museum accompanied by guides. Many historical events that coincided with the establishment of the UAE were recalled.
The theme of the Emirati Women's Day this year is "Inspiring reality... Sustainable Future" as announced by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation "Mother of the Nation". The EtihadWE’s Director General, Mohammad Saleh, had stated that this year's theme expresses the honorable march of Emirati women for more than half a century, during which they demonstrated their ability to assume responsibility and achieve remarkable achievements in various fields, as it renews the leadership’s promise to keep supporting and pushing the women for more achievements in the future.
It is noteworthy that Etihad Water and Electricity also celebrated Emirati Women's Day by distributing logo-themed gifts to all female employees.
