​The Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA) revealed that the work at Al Hamra Power Plant in Ras Al Khaimah is accelerated to be completed next December instead of the first quarter of 2020, and this plant is one of the main stations that FEWA is implementing in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, to serve the industrial, tourism and residential sectors in the region.
Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director General of FEWA said: The new plant in Al Jazirah Al Hamra in Ras Al Khaimah comes within the efforts made by the Authority  in order to provide energy to the various sectors in all the areas it covers, and it also supports the government's plans to provide energy for all current and future housing projects and extensions, in addition to meeting the growing demand for energy by the industrial, tourism and other sectors.
