  • Program Launched in Collaboration with “Nafis,” the National Initiative Empowering Citizens in the Private Sector
  • Engineer Yousif Al Ali: Striving to Prepare a New Generation of Qualified Leaders for the Continuing Journey of Emirati Leadership

Under the patronage and presence of Engineer Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), the company hosted the second forum for participants in its flagship initiative, the "Etihad Graduate Training Program." The event illuminated the comprehensive program requirements and outlined the upcoming phase. In attendance was Shaikha Murad Al Blooshi, Senior Vice President HR and Administration, along with teams from the Human Resources Department.

The CEO delivered a speech to the program participants, comprising 24 outstanding national talents who graduated with excellence from engineering colleges for the academic year 2022-2023. He reiterated EtihadWE's ongoing commitment to empower young national talents, enhance their capabilities, and prepare them to play an active role in sustainable development efforts in the UAE. Emphasizing the company's dedication to continuing the legacy of leadership and excellence established by its founding fathers and guided by the wise leadership's vision, he noted that the program's objective extends beyond refining the technical skills of participants. It aims to impart integrated leadership skills and prepare a new generation of qualified leaders capable of directing teams in various roles and specialties.

EtihadWE previously announced the "Etihad Graduate Training Program" during the first forum for program participants held at the end of October. Invitations were extended to those who successfully passed the initial qualifying tests from the previous academic year's graduates.

During her speech at that time, Shaikha Murad Al Blooshi, the Senior Vice President HR and Administration, announced the dedication of financial allocations to reward program participants in the form of a monthly salary, along with providing health insurance. This serves as an encouragement for them to excel and progress in the program's modules.

It is worth noting that the "Etihad Graduate Training Program" was launched in collaboration with "Nafis," the national initiative led by the UAE government to empower Emirati citizens working in the private sector. Program participants will undergo a comprehensive training program spanning a full year, covering theoretical and practical aspects in various departments of the company. The program aims to refine their knowledge acquired through university studies, build their capacities in financial analysis, and enhance their understanding of the requirements of the job market.
