Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director General of Etihad Water and Electricity, said that the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition "WETEX" and Dubai Solar Energy creates opportunities for fruitful partnership and contributes to the development and growth of the sector, which has established its position as the most important, attended and influential exhibition in its field, pointing to the keenness of EtihadWE to participate in it annually.

He added: The exhibition, which is being held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is in line with the insightful vision of the wise leadership regarding the sustainability of the energy, water and environment sectors, expressing his appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy for His patronage of the exhibition and for His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of the exhibition, for his fruitful efforts in organizing it.

The 24th WETEX and Dubai Solar Show, which will be held from 27-29 September at the Dubai World Trade Center, will witness the launch of a number of innovative technologies in the field of water sustainability, its infrastructure, methods of treatment and desalination, water purification, flow control, sewage treatment, water waste disposal, water extraction from air and others. The exhibition is being held this year under the slogan "At the Forefront of Sustainability", with the participation of 1,750 companies from 55 countries.
