Etihad Water & Electricity, in a record time of no more than 15 minutes, provided a portable generator to compensate for the power outages in a number of homes in Al Rams area, as a result of the fire that affected a small transformer there.

Mohammad Mohammad Saleh, Director General, stated to the media, that as soon as the report was received, the necessary measures to deal with such cases where taken to ensure the continuity of service. He pointed out that the case has been dealt with in fastest possible period of time, which did not exceed 15 minutes, the period required to prepare and operate the generator.

He said that an investigation is underway to find out the causes of the fire, while the concerned teams are working hard to replace the burned transformer with a new one.
