In the context of its permanent endeavour, to achieve the vision of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority to disseminating and consolidating a culture of consumption reduction among the various groups of society, the Conservation Department implemented a few days ago, an awareness workshop at the Police Training Institute in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, attended by more than 60 employees and students of the Institute's members.
The workshop, which was presented by a team from the Conservation Department led by Eng. Hind Rashid Al Ali, Director of the Department, along with Ms. Eman Ali Al Muhairi, Manager of Strategic Partnership, and Eng. Al Hanouf Gharib, Environmental Engineer, aimed to educate the audience on the importance and how to adopt rational practices in using of electricity and water. The workshop also included the Authority objectives, during which some introductory videos were presented on its most important initiatives in the field, such as the " Conserve for Good" project.
After the workshop ended, the attendees expressed the extent to which they benefited from the information presented therein, and some of them took the initiative to sign up for "Conserve for Good" project.
H. E. Colonel Dr Nasser Mohammad Al Bakr Al-Zaabi, Director of the Institute, extended a special thanks to FEWA for its efforts in the field of awareness to rationalize the consumption of electricity and water and gave the team members appreciation certificates.
