​‪ A few days ago, the Conservation Department conducted the  workshop "Heroes of Conservation" at the Emirates Association for Social Development in Ras Al Khaimah within the summer camp of the Association. The workshop was for the children aged 9 to 12 years.‬‬
The two-day workshop, which was attended by about 200 children, focused on instilling the concepts of conservation of electricity and water in young people, and awareness of the role of the individual in reducing the environmental impact and conservation of natural resources, through innovative awareness activities and learning methods of play, which are a fun experience for children and entrench in their minds easily.
At the end of the workshop, the Association officials expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Authority for its distinguished efforts and innovative approach in sensitizing young people about the conservation behaviors, demanding to repeat such workshops for children, in order to instill in them a culture of preserving the natural resources of the State, and support the orientations and vision of the Government in this field. ‪‬‬‬‬‬
