​On Tuesday, the Acting Director General of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, Mr. Adnan Nasib Salem, welcomed a delegation from "Faraj Fund" presided by Mr. Saqr Naser Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Fund. The visiting delegation was briefed on a range of charitable programs adopted by the Fund such as "Assistance program for insolvent prisoners", "Assistance program for prisoners' families" and "Assistance program for foreign prisoners in returning to their homeland".

The two parties discussed the areas of volunteering and the possible cooperation aspects. It was agreed to frame and consolidate this cooperation through a memorandum of understanding to be signed by the parties soon.
