In line with the celebrations held by the State on the occasion of the Afforestation Week (39) organized under the slogan "Sustainable Green Environment", FEWA has been keen to participate actively in this annual tradition, which is consistent with the orientations of the Government in spreading the culture of conservation of the environment through launching its afforestation campaign of 2019 in all its main customer happiness centers.

The event was held in Customer Happiness Center in Ajman, with the participation of Municipality and Planning Department, represented by Agriculture and Gardens Department in the presence of the Director, Ahmed Al Muhairi, who praised the efforts of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority in instilling a culture of interest in the environment and to achieve the sustainability, which proves its commitment with its organizational responsibility towards society and environment.

The event lasted for one week, where a number of officials, managers, senior engineers and employees from different area participated through planting of the "Ghaf Tree", which is the tree chosen to be the official slogan for the Year of Tolerance. This tree is considered the symbol of steadfastness and coexistence in the desert. It is one of the original national trees of the United Arab Emirates.
