​​The Federal Electricity & Water Authority has signed Deloitte as its partner to provide implementation services for the integration of the Smart Meters for electricity and water with SAP Enterprise solution.

The project will enable FEWA with industry leading customer service capabilities and ultimately provide more reliable and cost effective utility services to customers. With the help of an end-to-end automated solution FEWA will benefit from reduction of erroneous metering data, timely detection of meter failures and reduction of operational overhead costs.

This engagement, spread over a duration of 15 months, will cover integration of SAP with AMI systems and implementation of selected functionalities of SAP on ECC. While deploying Deloitte's proprietary EVD for SAP methodology, they will leverage its SAP Utility Template to provide the technology, leading practices and processes to help enhance system value and drive benefits.
