​As part of its 2018 plan, the Conservation Department organized an awareness workshop for the students of Oby Bin Ka'ab Primary School
(C1) Males of Ras Al Khaimah, attended by about 60 students, along with a number of teachers and administrators of the school.
The workshop aimed at instilling and consolidating the behaviors of rationalizing the consumption of electricity and water, and educating children about the importance of natural resources and how to preserve them.
The workshop included a series of events, including a definition of rationalization, a part to answer student questions, documentary films on the importance of energy and water conservation at home and school, and some interactive competitions such as the "Best Painting on Rationalization" competition.
At the end of workshop, the children who took part in the workshop were honored and given "heroes of rationalization certificates ".
