Mohammad Mohammad Saleh, Director General of Etihad Water and Electricity, said that the document of "Principles of the 50" announced by the leadership constitutes a working approach in the coming period. It demonstrates the leadership's keenness to build future plans that ensure securing the interests of the UAE people in light of the foundations and values on which our country was built.
Saleh stressed that the service sectors provided by Etihad Water and Electricity to the people of the Emirates serve the objectives of the “Principles of the 50", especially the first principle related to the development of the urban and rural economies throughout the nation.
He Said that EtihadWE is working to support a number of other principles at the national level, foremost of which is strengthening the economic environment and achieving digital and technical excellence through a number of projects that consolidate these concepts, such as fruitful partnerships with the private sector, which contributes to supplying the national economy with promising investments and contributions. Other important projects include the innovative smart meters project, which is part of our long-term vision to advance the process of digital transformation through the use of smarter technologies, and the green chargers project that supports efforts to achieve environmental sustainability, as well as the new water desalination plant in Umm Al Quwain with a production capacity of 150 million gallons per day. It will achieve an important aspect of the leadership's vision of water security in the UAE."
