Etihad Water and Electricity Company (EtihadWE) recently launched the first batch of its training program, "National Diploma," aimed at equipping a number of young national talents within the company to play an active role in achieving strategic objectives for the upcoming phase and the company's vision for sustainable future growth.
The National Diploma Program represents one of the latest approaches in qualitative training and professional development. It focuses on supporting the cognitive capabilities and refining the practical skills of trainees in the core service areas of the company, represented by the water and electricity sectors. This program is part of EtihadWE's ongoing commitment to enhancing and developing its workforce, as it believes that its human resources are the cornerstone of its success and growth.
The program has attracted 50 employees who possess promising national competencies. They have been divided into two groups, with the training topics being alternated between the two groups. The requirements for obtaining the diploma, granted by the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, include 64 training days for each trainee, in addition to passing the final exam. The sessions are conducted at the training centers of Etihad Water and Electricity in Alsajaa and Masafi regions, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and training facilities.
