The Director General, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, attended the sponsoring ceremony and launching of the fifth edition of the sustainability report "State of Green Economy 2019", where he was honored by H.E. CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

Federal Electricity and Water Authority has participated with a group of largest companies operating in the power field in the United Arab Emirates in sponsoring the fifth edition of the report which will distributed in widely in several local and international forums under the supervision of Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence.

The report highlight the efforts of the most important organizations and authorities operating in the United Arab Emirates to achieve the sustainability, combat climate change and waste resources including Federal Electricity and Water Authority. The report dealt with a detailed explanation of the Ghalila Plant for the desalination of seawater by osmosis in Ras Al Khaimah, which is highly efficient in the operations and operating systems, which enabled it to win a number of local and global awards in the fields of innovation and sustainability.

The report also stated the efforts and innovative initiatives of the Authority in the field of conservation of electricity and water consumption as well as its initiative "Zayed white hands around the world" in the Year of Zayed 2018 in memory of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah have mercy upon him.
