​In the context of its endeavors to contribute to achieve the national quality of life strategy 2031 at various levels, where the health lifestyle in the society is among them, and in conjunction with the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Federal Electricity and Water Authority launched an awareness campaign aimed at its female employees in the various regions.

The campaign was organized in cooperation with many entities including the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Ajman Healthcare City, Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital and Fujairah Synergy Center.
During the campaign, a group of educational lectures were given which dealt with raising the awareness for the breast cancer and explaining the risk factors that increase the chances of infection. The lectures focused on raising awareness of the importance of periodic detection which increases the chances of full recovery and introducing the means of this detection for women as well as the most important examination related thereto.
It is worth to note that the "Pink Wave" organized by FEWA during this past October included also a number of encouraging and entertainment activities such as the "Pink Distributions" by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and giving free service coupons and others.
