Field visits were organized for trainees of the "National Diploma Program”, to Masafi Power Station and Al Rafisah Dam in the Khorfakkan area. The purpose of these visits was to enhance the acquired knowledge of the trainees and provide them with a close understanding of the practical applications of the program's curriculum.
During the visit to Masafi Power Station, a delegation of 25 trainees from the electricity training group was introduced to the station's operations, various sections, safety measures and precautions. The visit was led by Engineer Maitha Obaid Al Teneiji and Engineer Samer Mohammed El Senary. The visit was coordinated in collaboration with Abeer Hassan Al Jeeda, Chief Engineer in the Central Region.
Similarly, a delegation was taken to Al Rafisah Dam, where 25 trainees from the water training group were given insights into the dam's functions and operations.
The “National Diploma Program” was launched with its first batch a few weeks ago, aiming at equipping a number of young national talents within the company to play an active role in achieving strategic objectives for the upcoming phase and the company's vision for sustainable future growth.
The program has attracted 50 employees who have been divided into two groups, with the training topics being alternated between them. The requirements for obtaining the diploma, granted by the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, include 64 training days for each trainee, in addition to passing the final exam.
