In line with its comprehensive digital transformation initiatives, Etihad Water and Electricity Company (EtihadWE) has successfully completed the migration of on-premise database to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), one of the most reputable and reliable global data clouds.
The project is expected to significantly enhance performance and efficiency by reducing mission-critical workloads. As a result, operational efforts will be reduced by over 40% of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). These saved resources will be redirected towards improvement initiatives and the qualitative development of services provided by EtihadWE to its valued customers and partners.
Throughout the project implementation, EtihadWE remained committed to upholding its stringent cybersecurity standards and adhering to data residency requirements. Collaboration with Oracle, a world-leading company in information technology systems and database management, ensured the successful execution of the migration.
